What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of Nautral Healing, often referred to as ‘Hands-on-Healing’. It is used to balance and align the energy centers/chakras in your body. This can leave you feeling lighter, rejuvenated and grounded.
Reiki means Universal Life Energy. Reiki is at a high frequency of unconditional love.
Reiki is NOT massage. It is a way of gently shifting energy to bring it back into harmony and balance in your body.
In a Reiki session, as your practitioner, I am a clear channel, connected to universal energy and grounded to the Earth. The energy comes through my hands to shift any dense energy and bring balance to your mind and body energy system.
I look forward to helping you align and balance your energy with Reiki.
How Does Reiki Work?
Reiki is a form of energy work used worldwide to promote self-healing.
All major spiritual practices recognise a universal energy and consciousness, and we can learn to guide the flow of this energy through the practice of Reiki.
Reiki works on many levels, mental, emotional, physical, metaphysical, in the conscious mind and also what’s stored in the subconscious. It can release what’s stuck and gives the feeling of expansion, peace, harmony within the body.
Some hospitals employ Reiki practitioners to work with patients. Reiki is an energy healing with intention, and this makes it extremely powerful, and complementary to medicines and other medical treatments and procedures.
Reiki is also used to enhance your energy and follow any clear intention you may have. eg. moving house, receiving a new job, managing stress/anxiety, feeling calm and peaceful.
Reiki can be received in person or by distance healing.
What happens in a Reiki Session?
We recommend a 60 minute session to allow you to fully relax and let go. Follow-up treatments are recommended to keep you balanced and in a state of ease and flow.
This is a great way to nurture through self-care.
Each session is adapted to suit your individual requirements. Only then does healing begin to be accepted and takes place.
Benefits of Reiki:
- Balanced energy/chakras
- Release and let go of negative/toxic energy
- Rejuvenate and relax for self-care
- Balance/ regulate emotions
- Pain relief/management
- Stress relief
What does Reiki do for you?
- Everyone can benefit from a Reiki session, you don’t have to be unwell.
- Reiki can accelerate the healing process after injury, before and after surgery. PLEASE NOTE: Reiki is not to be used on broken bones, unless they are put back in place, as it is fast acting.
- Reiki can relieve and lessen pain and tension you man have. Please also be aware that if you have a chronic pain or disease that has developed over time, it may require regular sessions to alleviate or resolve the pain.
- Often after a session, your body may detoxify. This may have you visiting the bathroom more frequently and your skin may release toxins. Drinking more water than usual after treatment will aid the detoxification process.
